Hello my name is Lindsey, I started my grooming career in a boarding kennels when I was just 14 years old. I helped out as a Saturday girl and quickly found out that I enjoyed transforming all breeds of dogs from something scruffy to something of a much more neat appearance.
When I left school I started as a trainee dog groomer, working towards my advanced grooming qualifications which I passed in 1995.
I worked for almost 10 years as a dog groomer in a brand new grooming centre building up a regular loyal client base.
I have completed a improving scissor technique workshop, a clip and style workshop and most recently a creative grooming day.
I am currently working towards my higher grooming diploma.
Hello my name is Lucy, I have been a dog groomer for just over 10 years now. After gaining my btec first diploma in animal care at moulton college I was unsure of what I wanted to do, so I applied for a job as a grooming assistant. I fell in love with grooming and have never looked back!
I worked at a kennels for three years where I did a lot of my training, I then worked for two years at moulton college where I furthered my skills by passing my exams and working closely with the grooming teachers. I moved onto managing a grooming salon in national pet retail shop, where I became a member of their demonstration team grooming at pet industry shows and crufts. After going to back to my roots and working in a kennel groomers again for two years I am so happy to be back in a salon and a part of the muddy paw team.
I have my 7750 city and guilds advanced diploma in dog grooming, which I completed 4 years ago. I also have taken further courses in bichon and poodle styling, Airedale and long legged terrier styling and creative styling. I am a qualified canine first aider, and am currently working towards my higher diploma in dog grooming.
